Joann Roth-Oseary / President
People often ask Joann Roth-Oseary her secret to success. While the simple answer is hard work, it truly has been her warmth and integrity, coupled with her experience, creative mind, business acumen, and attention to every detail that have made Someone’s in the Kitchen the full-service catering and event design firm of choice since 1980.
Joann’s energy extends beyond her business into the community. She is a strong supporter of many organizations and charities. She donates her time and professional services to charities such as; AIDS Project Los Angeles, The Fred Jordan Mission, The Dome Village, Homeless USA, The Jewish Home for the Aging, The SEARCH Foundation, and LA’s BEST. Her ongoing philanthropy to so many have been noted with honors from the City of Hope, the Mayor of Los Angeles, and the Governor of California.
Where does all this award winning savvy business woman’s inspiration genius come from? After all, anyone who has ever done anything in the kitchen knows preparation for an evening of any magnitude involves days, nights, weekends, little time off and a lot of time coaxing one’s imagination to come up with bigger, better and more creative solutions. As a 20 year veteran at SITK, Jason brings his extensive culinary expertise and strong management skills to the team. Jason’s calm attention to detail and his ability to coordinate the services of multiple vendors, he has definitely mastered the art of the event. Jason has a Business Degree from UC Santa Barbara and is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Jason is also a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program.
Cheryl Fish / Vice President, SITK Design Services
Cheryl is an expert in the field of design and décor and has followed a trailblazing 33-year career producing stunning social and corporate events for clients throughout the nation. Her artistic and creative edge transforms ordinary events into extraordinary events. Cheryl and Joann have been long-time industry friends, and together, they make magic happen at Someone’s in the Kitchen and at our exciting new SITK Design Services Division, of which Cheryl is Vice President.
Veronique “Vee” Williams / Sales & Catering Representative
Originally from Orlando, Florida, I worked in restaurants and catering companies gaining experience in the hospitality industry. `When I moved to California I brought my expertise in Sales and Catering to the Lake Arrowhead Resort, booking group destinations and catering events. The past 25 year has provided me the knowledge to communicate with our clientele through social media and real time technology.
My exciting position at SITK gives me the opportunity to develop wonderful relationships with our clients offering them exquisite cuisine for their special celebrations. Our award winning company is simply the best with a truly unique sense of taste and style that truly is impressive.
Our SITK Event Coordinators will work with you to set the right tone, customize menus, and produce an atmosphere that will make you and your guests feel pampered and completely at ease.
