Joann Roth-Oseary
President
People ask Joann Roth-Oseary her secret to success. While the simple answer is hard work, it truly has been her warmth and integrity, coupled with her experience, creative mind, business acumen and attention to detail that have made Someone’s in the Kitchen the catering and event firm of choice for many high-profile clients and a powerful force in the event industry.
In 1980, Joann began Someone’s in the Kitchen. With her talent and drive, it didn’t take long for her to build the company from a one-woman operation into an award-winning catering and event design firm. Throughout the years, Joann expanded the company’s services based on the needs of clients and now the full-service event firm can arrange entertainment, photography, video, floral and design for any size event.
Joann’s energy extends beyond her business to her community and its many civic and charitable needs. She is a strong supporter of many varied organizations and charities, donating time and professional services to charities such as AIDS Project LA, The Fred Jordan Mission, The Dome Village, Homeless USA, The Jewish Home for the Aging and LA’s BEST. Her ongoing generosity to so many has been noted with honors from the City of Hope, the Mayor of Los Angeles and the Governor of California to name a few.
Joann is as devoted to her charity work as she is to her business, never compromising her high standards or ideals for either. Coming from a strong foundation of her own supporters -- loyal team members, friends and family -- Joann continues to make her mission to make our world a better place by taking time to remember those less fortunate and always celebrating that which is special in life.

Michelle Jurgaitis
Director of The Foods to Go Department
If anyone knows about life at SITK, it’s Michelle. The joke goes that she was “born” at SITK, but the real story is that she’s been here for a wonderfully long time – lucky us, and lucky you.
Beginning as the executive assistant to our president, then moving on to office manager, Michelle unofficially serves as the archivist and historian for SITK. Officially, she now reigns as director of the Foods To Go department. In this role for the past 5 years, Michelle brings extensive menu planning and superb coordination ability to this busy division. If you’re looking for great food without the bells and whistles of full service event production, Michelle’s the one to call!
