On SunsetIt was the grand re-opening of one of LA's haute couture women's boutique- from its original sleepy location to the center of it all-The Sunset Strip. The "we've moved" party needed to be as hip and action packed as its new location- and indeed it was. The welcome at the boutique's front door included a one-night only custom design of the store's front retail window-complete with live models and plasma screens. Live mannequins, male model fashion police, and runway footage on the site's existing surfaces helped to prove "Fashion is fun"! The all ice martini bar featured an unusual twist. The quartet of ice luges atop the all-ice bar had trapped in them knee-high fashion boots bought especially for the night. As guests made their way down the red carpet, they were welcomed at the door by sexy crystal tattoo girls who flashed open their black mini trench coats to reveal the suggestive invitation "show us your TATS". |

Making Festivities Beautiful

COMEDY CENTRAL NETWORK, NEW YORKIt called for whacky ideas and Hollywood hip style – a celebration hosted by Comedy Central network honoring one of their price show’s 5th Anniversary on air – South Park! The goal was a South-Park crazy kinda crazy party – honoring young and fun co-creators, Matt Stone and Try Parker, and their beloved staff. Matt and Trey asked for something fun and not seen before – nothing too stuffy or too formal. SITK transformed a white open sound studio into an edgy campy party. Greeting guests was a 30-ft. high giant “5”, which did a slow spin on the oversized entrance doors into the Studio space. Mochas and chocolates blended with turquoises to strike the color palette, and centered around the space’s existing elements – open wood beams, concrete floors. Three giant martini ice luges of the South Park boys, and custom South Park tattoos added a bit of branding to the part social/part corporate function. The climax included a 40-minute performance by one of Matt and Trey’s favorite bands – Morris Day and the Time! A campy menu of chili shots, burgers and fries, and spaghetti and meatballs completed the evening’s feel. |
